  • LOCAL COVER & DOLLARCHOP
A COVER SEND FROM SHANGHAI TO WOOSUNG

This cover was send to the Imperial Chinese Customs At Woosung. A Shanghai Dollarchop canceled the 2 cents ICP stamp, and a Woosung Dollarchop applied at the back for receiving.

 

  • WUHU PA-KAU & DOLLARCHOP
A COVER SEND FROM WUHU TO USA

The 10c. ICP (foreign letter rate) cover with the stamp canceled by a Wuhu Pa-Kau to the back and a Wuhu Dollarchop for dispatch on the front of the cover.
The 10 sen Japanese stamp made up the outgoing postage to USA.

   

  • CHUNGKING PA-KAU & DOLLARCHOP
CHUNGKING COVER TO USA

A Chungking, Szechuan cover send to Maine, with 1 cent, 2 cents and 5 cents ICP's canceled by a Pa-Kau and Chungking Dollarchop of 21 mar 98. A Shanghai Dollarchop transits to the back of the cover. The 10 sen Japanese stamp made up the out going postage to the USA.







 

  • COMBINATION COVER
    (JAPANESE OFFICE)
A COVER SEND FROM TIENTSIN TO USA

The two 5 cents ICP Stamps was canceled by a Tientsin Pa-Kau with a Tientsin Dollarchop beside for dispatch. The 10 cents made up a regular letter rate for foreign mails.
A 10 sen Japanese Office stamp was added and canceled in Shanghai for the outgoing trip.

    (BRITISH OFFICE)
A COVER SEND FROM FOOCHOW TO U.S.A.

This cover was franked with 2 cents printed matter rate to the USA. An extra Foochow Dollarchop denotes that the cover had missed dispatch time, and was send on the next dispatch two days later. The 2 cents Hong Kong stamp was canceled at Hong Kong for the out going printed matter rate to the USA.

KIUKIANG CHINA INLAND MISSION COVER

An Inland Mission cover from Kiukiang to Shanghai franked with a 2 cents ICP stamp canceled by a Kiukiang Dollarchop of 23 AUG 98.

  • CHINKIANG PA-KAU & DOLLARCHOP
CHINKIANG COVER TO U.S.A.

A Chinkiang cover send to New York and redirected, with an ICP 10 cents canceled by a Pa-Kau and Chinkiang Dollarchop of 8 JUN 98 on the front of the cover. A Shanghai Dollarchop transits to the back of the cover. The 10 sen Japanese stamp made up the out going postage to the USA.

A COVER USED LOCALLY IN SHANGHAI

This cover was send locally in Shanghai and was franked by a 1 cent ICP stamp (special Shanghai local letter rate) canceled by a Shanghai Pa-Kau.
