COVER SEND FROM CHENGTU TO U.S.A. Since
agreements had been made to all foreign Post Offices by 1904, no foreign P.O. stamp was
required after that time, but foreign P.O. cancel was still applied for the dispatch
aboard. The 10 cents CIP stamp was tied by a Chengtu bi-lingual cancel. Two Shanghai
transit and Japanese P.O. in Shanghai cancel to the back of the cover. |
